Initial Screening

Assessing the fit

You’ll have a video call covering a brief introduction to Reso and the role. During the call, we will seek to understand your background, personality, interest in research, and motivation for the role.

Case Study

Understanding your aptitude and potential

You’ll be assigned a case study resembling a typical client research request. You will work remotely for approximately two days. Over the course of the case study, we will assess your approach, attention to detail, quality of presentation and insights generated.

Competence Based Interview

Evaluating your knowledge, skills, and behaviors

In a second video call with one of our research heads, we will discuss your case study submission, delve into your work experience, and evaluate you against role competencies, including behavioral assessment.

On-the-job Assessment

Seeing how you perform in practice

During this critical two-day evaluation exercise, we will examine task comprehension, teamwork, research thoroughness, working to deadlines, presentation structure, and impact.

Final Evaluation

Confirmation of your commitment to our values and purpose

We will organize a final meeting to assess your alignment with our values and purpose, and your commitment to the role.

A Junior Research Analyst is responsible for conducting research, analyzing findings and distilling key insights. They ensure that all findings, data and the facts are accurate and consistent. They take ownership in ensuring that work meets our quality standards by following the demonstrated best practices and research methods that support accurate and consistent research. They are committed to continuous learning and growth.

The Research Analyst steps into the client’s shoes to understand their needs and delivers research that fulfils these needs. The Analyst is expected to work independently and may also lead certain tasks. The Analyst demonstrates good communication skills and can proactively engage with the client to explain, discuss and present research recommendations in a constructive manner.

The Senior Research Analyst develops trust, credibility, and rapport with the client by ensuring research deliverables are clear, comprehensive and insightful. The Senior Research Analyst coaches fellow team members on work standards and best practices and contributes to team and organizational learning as well as their own personal development.

The Research Manager oversees other team members and carries out their own research. They align with client expectations, determine the overall research direction, and ensure it meets our high-quality standards.

The Senior Research Manager ensures effective work allocation within the research team for optimal utilization of time and quality outcomes. They assist with hiring, assessing performance, and providing training opportunities to team members. They offer expert guidance on complex projects and enrich organizational knowledge by capturing lessons learned from each project.

The Director oversees the managers and leads either a research practice area or office location/region. The Director acts as an agent of change to drive progress, implement organizational improvement and leads overarching and impactful company-wide initiatives. They handle complex assignments and demonstrate intellectual leadership both to clients and internally.
