Q1. What was your role at Reso, and what projects did you work on?
My last role at Reso was as a Research Manager. I usually worked on social and cultural projects as well as various public policy topics. I also researched the backgrounds of famous executives and world leaders, which I really enjoyed because you learn about the backstory to their success.
Q2. Can you share a fun or interesting anecdote from your time at Reso?
One of my favorite experiences at Reso was when I got to travel to Saudi Arabia with the team to meet with clients. I had worked on numerous Saudi-related cultural projects over the years so it was so cool to see the country’s vibrancy first hand and the remarkable transition the country is going through.
Q3. What was the most challenging aspect of your work at Reso, and how did you overcome it?
The most challenging part was the super tight deadlines! Clients would sometimes request work with only an hour or two deadline, and you would have to move very quickly to find all the facts and make them presentable. But at the same time, the deadlines made the work exciting and exhilarating and kept me on my toes.
Q4. How have stayed connected with Reso after leaving the company?
After moving back to the US I did freelance research for Reso for a year. And of course, I have stayed connected with the company and all my former wonderful colleagues!
Q5. How do you apply what you learned at Reso in the work you do today?
I have been able to directly leverage all the research skills I learned at Reso to my current research role at a financial services firm in New York. From knowing the go-to sources for various topics to using creative keywords in my search, I continue to build on what I learned at Reso.
