Thirteen of the fifteen most water-stressed nations globally are in the MENA region, making it the most water-scarce region in the world, with only about ~1% of the world’s freshwater resources.

In response to this critical challenge, the region is pioneering innovative solutions such as fog harvesting, cloud seeding, and greywater recycling. These advancements are helping countries transform water scarcity into a story of technological resilience.
