Our analysis shows that despite commanding significant market share, most platforms operate on razor-thin or negative margins. Only a handful—Meituan, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Talabat, and Jahez—have demonstrated sustainable profitability, while others continue to struggle with unit economics.
